   According to "Heartland Genealogy", Martha Knight was born in January 1773 at Kentucky. She married James Crawford on 12 March 1793 at Lincoln Co., Kentucky. Martha Knight died on 1 January 1842 at West Lebanon, Warren Co., Indiana. She was buried at Crawford Cemetery, Warren Co., Indiana. She resided in 1829 at Warren County, Indiana. She received title to 80 acres upon the death of her husband, James Crawford, in 1834 at Warren County, Indiana.
