Martha's death

Martha died of a Stroke...she was sitting in her home talking to her sister Freda...she just slump over as if she had gone to sleep...Freda call 911 and they rushed her to the Regional Medical Center about 3 miles from her home...she remain in a coma for about 26 hours before she died....

A lot of information I have come from old news paper clippings she had kept...and a lot of the older pictures I have of family came from her...I made copies of them after she died

  Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Henderson, 82, of Madisonville, Ky, died Wednesday March 23, 2005, at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.Born September 23, 1922, in Muhlenberg County, Ky, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Herman Hendricks and Mattie Lee Croxton Hendricks. In addition to her parents she was prceded in death by her husband, Robert Marshall Henderson on September 15, 1995.Mrs Henderson was a former Nurse's aide at senior Citizens Nursing Home and was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.  
  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis Ann and Howard Gearhart of Portage, IN; two sisters, Freda Alexander and Nelva Bradley both of Madisonville, six brother, Jesse Hendricks Jr. of Evansville,IN, Marvin Hendricks, Rev. Ronnie Hendricks, Dudley Hendricks, and Emmitt Hendricks all of Madisonville, and Robert D. Hendricks of Dawson Springs, KY; one granddaughter, Kathy Kainrath; Two grandsons Mark Nisbet and Bill Nisbet, two great grandsons Aaron Kainrath and Dennis Kainrath Jr.
  Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Briar Creek Cemetery in Muhlenberg County, KY.Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M.
