Martha was a member of the Lafayette Park Baptist Church, St. Louis, Missouri. She became a member of the Women's Baptist Foreign Missionary Society of the West on March 26, 1898. A stain glass window was paid for and placed there by her family. Her name and the names of her husband and mother-in-law were imprinted on the window.
