In the records of Wesley Methodist Church, Belleville, NJ, it is noted that Martha Cole of Woodside was "insane and in the asylum." This is crossed out, and replaced with "partially restored but not right." This is in the new book. In the old book, from which her name was transferred, it is stated "insane and sent to asylum." This is in the alphabetical list of members dated March 20, 1861.
