    Martha Downs m ca. 1717 James Bunker b ca, 1665 d. ca. 1722 [estate admin to his grown sons James and Joseph 5 May 1724]. Martha had one child Elijah Bunker who m Judith ___ and had five daus bp in 17 Oct 1756 Dover, New Hampshire. The other 6 Bunker children of James Bunker were from his 1st wife, Anne (Thomas) dau. of James and Martha (Goddard) Thomas (m bef 1700). Ann died about 1717. Martha married second to John Mackleroy bef 8 Dec 1725 who died Somersworth 16 Feb 1722. James Bunker's probate papers include an article of agreeement between Martha Mackelroy "widow relict of James Bunker late of Dover" and "James Bunker and Joseph Bunker," in which settlement she agrees "to maintain the child she hath had by the aforesaid deceased," signed 8 Dec 1725 N.H.State Probate 32:2,9). Master Tate listed Martha's death following that of her second husband, 16 Feb 1772. [Note the wife of Philip Stackpole died 24 Sep 1792 and is often conflated with Martha Downs in older sources].
