Person:Martha Dildine (1)

Hi everyone;

Sorry for the lapse but it is how it goes. Someone asked about the link to the dildine family of Sussex Co., NJ and here it is, hopefully I've got it right this time.

Also, I got to thinking that maybe Dildine was a surname that entered into the lines prior to Mathew C. Phillips' birth. I did some searching but nothing 'til I tried to search for a Hopkins (one of Mathew's wives) and Dildine. Which led me to an Ephraim Hopkins who married Martha Dildine, which is the daughter of the Abraham Dildine (with REV WAR beside name at family search) at the above link. Search for Ephraim Hopkins, yr 1787 at Family Search and check the IGI results for North America.

I don't have the time to trace this for a few weeks and even then it is sketchy so I thought I'd post it here in case anyone has access to the CD's listed on the family search site.

Will dig more and post any results when I can.
