The marriage of Martha J. Bowman to J. Parker seems closer to the time frame of a marriage for Martha J.(Mattie). It is posted all over the internet that this Martha married the Parker. While she probably did, I have not been able to locate any data regarding Mattie Bowman Howard to compare their statistics.

I sent an email requesting the death date of Martha J. Bowman in order to obtain a death certificate to resolve this question.
