REFN: 507 After Roberson McMenamy's death, his wife Martha took her children to McNairy County, Tennessee, where several of them married; then about 1883they all moved to Collin County, Texas. Martha had taken them (her children) half way across the country; then in 1889, at age 75, she homesteaded in western Oklahoma, accompanied by her youngest son and a daughter.....a remarkable lady.
