Marlene Ann Angelina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Angelina [edit] ==========================================================Oswego Palladium-Times, 8 Sep 1964: ANESTHESIA MASK ON HER FACE, NURSE FOUND DEAD IN HOSPITAL A 22-year-old nurse at Oswego Hospital was found dead on a couch in a nurses' rest area in the hospital's operating suite Sunday morning a short while after she had invited two third floor nurses aides to join her for morning coffee. The victim was identified by hospital officials as Marlene Angelina of 233 E 6th ST, who was assigned to the third floor operating room section... District Attorney John R. Murray said the death of Miss Angelina was 'an apparent suicide'. Miss Angelina was born in Oswego, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Looker Angelina, and resided with her parents at 233 E 6th ST. She was a graduate of the Oak Hill School, Fitzhugh Park Junior High School and the Oswego High School and was a June 1962 graduate of Crouse-Irving Hospital in Syracuse... She was an ardent sports-woman and was a member of O'Keefe's softball team. She was also an avid fisherman. She was a member of the National Council of Catholic Nurses and the Alumni Association of Crouse-Irving. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Surviving, besides her parents, are two brothers James and Kenneth Angelina of Oswego, a sister, Mrs. Anthony (Sharon) Mangano of Lockport, her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alice Looker of Fulton...
