Obituary

LAKE BARRINGTON - Mark C. Faulkner, 44, formerly of Palatine. Born February 27, 1969 in Marion, IN, passed away suddenly at his home in Lake Barrington February 8, 2014. Mark was a graduate of Palatine High School and Winona State University. He coached his son in Barrington Youth Football, and supported his children in FC Barrington Soccer. Mark was a devoted husband and loving father. Mark is survived by his wife of 16 years, Janice (nee Rackow); children, Marissa, Hanna, and Grant; brother, Chris (Vickie) Faulkner; mother, Margaret (Glenn) Norling; stepbrothers, Brad and Jeff Norling; mother-in-law, Erika (Peter) Janetzki; sister-in-law, Pattie Karwowski; brother-in-law, John (Diana) Rackow; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Faulkner. Visitation will be 3 to 9pm Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook) Barrington. Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Faulkner family for the future education of Mark's children.
