Marjorie Griffith June 22, 1925 - January 3, 2003
At St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry's Bay on January 3, 2004 at the age of 78 years.
Marjorie was born and raised at the Foy homestead on the shores of Round Lake. She was the eldest daughter of Peter Henry and Esther Foy. Beloved wife of <living>. Dear mother to <names of living individuals have been removed>. Marjorie was predeceased by brothers Howard and John James and by a son, Peter.
Friends and relatives called at the Zummach Funeral Home on Monday, January 5. Funeral service was held at Grace Evangelical Missionary Church on Tuesday, January 6 at 11:00 am. The service was officiated by Pastor Peter Dennison with assistance from Rev. Robert Assaly. Long-time friend, Jim Wicks, delivered the eulogy. Nephews <names of living individuals have been removed> were pall-bearers.
Marjorie was much loved by her family, her many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed for the loving, kind and compassionate person she was.

The family of the late Marjorie Griffith wish to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness in donations of food, flowers, cards and visits in our time of sorrow at the loss of a dear wife, mother, mother-in-law and nanny.
Thank you to all who donated to St. Francis Memorial Hospital, the Building Fund of Grae Evangelical Missionary Church and the Canadian Cancer Society. Thank you to Dr. Tiedje, Para-med and Home Care staff, Zummach Funeral Home and to Pastor Peter Dennison for his numerous home visits and comforting words. A very special thank you ot the staff of St. Francis Memorial Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Thank you to the ladies of Grace Evangelical Missionary Church who prepared the delicious lunch. We are truly blessed and thankful.
