Pauline was born to the late Horace K., Kenneth Shepard and Alice M. Kirchoff. She grew up on the West Side of Indianapolis, IN and graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1952. She married her High School Sweetheart, David W. Mattox. To that union were born four children: David W., Kathy L., Vincent E., and Jon S. Mattox.
Pauline attended Ben Davis Christian Church. She was a former employee of Lakeview Christian Daycare. After the death of her first husband, David W. Mattox, some years later she met William V. Creasy; who she united in marriage in 1995.
She enjoyed her dogs, grandchildren, going to spend time at Cataract Lake and walks and conversations with her neighbors.
