Very little is known about her, before or after her marriage. She and Gen. Badeau appear to have lived separate lives, and she apparently is not even mentioned in his obituary (not seen), though she survived him.

She appears on the passenger list of S.S. Cleveland, departed Cherbourg 11 Oct 1911, headed for New York:

Badeau, Mrs. G^e Adam, 69 yrs, no occupation, U.S. citizen, final destination New York.

She appears to have been traveling with the lady next appearing on the list:

Van Dohen, Henriette, 67 yrs, no occupation, U.S. citizen, final destination New York.
