Johns Island, Charleston County, South CarolinaSent into exile with his mother and siblings. Later returned to Nova Scotia and lived at Pisiguit (now Windsor), where he married Marie Melanson and had at least 2 children. They moved to Grosses Coques, in Digby County, where they remained for the rest of their lives.
