According to 'Notes on Fitting Genealogy', Marie/Mary married, although she had no issue. I believe she married into Turville, based on her brother Walter's death notice.

 In the 1920 census for New York, New York, Catherine Fitting is 59 New York (parents Ireland), widow; with children Helen 35, dressmaker; Margaret 30; James 36, 'investigator accidents'; Mary 31, dressmaker; Frank 28, (checker?) docks; John 24, plumber; Irene 20, telephone; Walter 21, '(worker navy?)'; and Raphael 18, clerk importing.  {Amsterdam Ave, Manhattan, New York, 9th Ward, ED 70(3?), sh. 6a}
 Death Notice: "Fitting, Walter D. on April 11, beloved son of the late Christian and Catherine, brother of Mrs. Turville, Helen, James, Margaret, Irene, Frank, Ray, John, all of St. Petersburg Florida, and the late Catherine. Reposing at Farley's funeral home, 44-13 30th Ave. Long Island City, until Tuesday 9:30 am. Requiem mass St. Joseph's church, 10 a.m." {New York Times, 14 Apr 1952}
 I believe she married Oscar Lllewelyn Turville, listed in the 1917-8 WWI draft registration in New York city 'supervisor of stock', age 34 , born Apr 1884, closest relative 'Mayme Turvile'. 
 In the 1930 census for Pinellas Co., Florida, Oscar C. Turville is 46 born Barbadoes (parents same), emigrated 1905,  married first at 21, 'salesman - tobacco store'; with wife Mary V. 41, NY (parents same), married first at 16; and George Mulligan, 54 NY widowed.
