Story retold by Michael Rogers, called "Strange Romance of 4 Sister, Acadian Exiles, in Teche." Mrs. PREJEAN was exiled to Philadelphia by the British in 1756, and from there journeyed to the West Indies and settled in Port-au-Prince. There she lost three of her sons shortly after their arrival. She did not long survive them.
