    Marguerite H. Pearson, 80, a resident of the Abington area for more than 50 years died Sept. 22 at the Rydal Park Retirement Community.
    Mrs. Pearson was born in Kuling, China, to missionary parents.
    She was a graduate of Ursinus College and a member of the Abington Civic Association, the Abington Philanthropic and Educational Organization and Abington Presbyterian Church.
    She is survived by her husband Raymond T. Pearson; two sons David A. Hellwig and Phillip W. Hellwig; a sister Kathryn R. King, and two grandchildren.
    A memorial service was held Monday at the Rydal Park Retirement Community. Burial was private.
    Memorials may be sent to the Memorial Fund of Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Rd. Abington. PA 19001.
