Marguerite ARSENAUD, age 31 [so born around 1735], wife of Pierre BERNARD, listed with him and three children on the left bank of the Mississippi River. They have no slaves, 4 arpents of land, and one gun. No livestock are listed.

Entered as Pier BERNAR [sic], with his wife and six children on the List of French Acadians kept prisoner by the British at Halifax, dated 12 Aug 1763. A note says he was married to Marguerite ARSENAULT; that he was at St. James, LA in 1766 with three children, and married 2nd in 1777 to Ce'cile BERGERON (widow DUGAS).
