Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Abney officiating and the Rev. Brian Adams assisting. Burial will be in Lockney Cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mrs. Savage was born Jan. 27, 1940, in Coleman County to Henry and Lela Wayne Creek. A lifelong resident of Lockney, she married Jesse Savage on Dec. 24, 1973, in Lockney. She was a teacher's aide in Lockney for 30 years. She enjoyed oil wall painting and was a member of First Baptist Church of Aiken. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Savage of Lockney; two sons, Kent Stansell of Panhandle and Jeff Stansell of Austin; a daughter, Susan Emert of Haskell; a sister, Glyneth Petty of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to Hospice Hands of Lubbock, 1102 Slide Road, Suite 3, Lubbock, TX 79416 or a favorite charity.
