Will of Martin Van Horn
In the Name of God Amen I Martin Van Horn of the City of Paterson in the County of Passaic and State of New Jersey being of sound mind memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say,
First It is my Will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease.
Item I give devise and bequeath unto my Son Henry Van Horn all my estate both real and personal wheresoever the same may be situated and of whatsoever kind of which I may die seized to him and his heirs and assigns forever: upon this express condition that my said Son Henry Van Horn, shall pay to my Son Richard Van Horn the sum of Two Thousand Dollars by the first day of May Eighteen hundred and seventy four: and to my Daughter Margaret Carr the sum of One Hundred Dollars by the first day of May Eighteen hundred and seventy four.
Lastly I hereby appoint my said Son Henry Van Horn and my trusty friend Avery Richards Executors of this my last Will and Testament. Martin Van Horn
