I think maybe Peggy was married before she married Nathan, given they didn't marry till 1958, so I am assuming this is her married name, not maiden name. I have tried searching for an Efferson from Louisiana and can't find one. My dad told me she was from Louisiana. I am not even certain this is her death record, but I think it is a very likely possibility.

My parents said Peggy was a big drinker, with a very foul mouth and they had nothing to do with her and Nathan after they showed up drunk at the house one time. At one time, when my brother Chris was a baby, my parents went up to see the Rose Bowl floats and visited them. Peggy cooked them a good dinner, in fact, it was the Sweet/Sour Pork Chops my mom makes that are very good. At that time, Nathan was a bartender in Hollywood somewhere.
