Margaret Turple was known in the family as 'Aunt Maggie' or 'Auntie'. She married Edward (Ned) Wilcox. The marriage records at PANS give her age as 37 at the time of her marriage on 11 April 1889 at the Dartouth Presbyterian Church. The groom is listed as Edward Wilcox, age 23, laborer, born Ship Harbour, res. Dartmouth. She is listed as the daughter of Isaac and Annie Turple.

Margaret and Ned had no children of their own, but they brought up Grace Wilcox, daughter of Nathan and Isabell Wilcox. They lived at one time at 37 Jamieson St. Dartmouth, (half of a double house), then on Fairbank's ST. in Dartmouth, before moving to Portland, Oregon around the turn of the century.

Edward Wilcox was a fisherman. In 1881 he was living with the family of Own Newcombe.
