    THIS INDENTURE made the Twenty seventh day of June in the Sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith &c., and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Thirty two; Between THOMAS STURMAN of the County of Westmorland, Planter, of one part and WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY, both of the same County, Gent., of the other part; Witnesseth that THOMAS STURMAN in consideration of the sum of Five shillings to him in hand paid by WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY, the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, path and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY one full and undivided third part of all that parcel of land containing by estimation three hundred and seventy five acres, be the same more or less, scituate in the Parish of Washington in County of Westmorland, being the moiety or half part of Seven hundred and fifty acres of land formerly granted unto PATRICK SPENCE and DAVID NORRY, deceased, by Patent bearing date the Thirtieth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and Sixty, which seven hundred and fifty acres of land were afterwards divided between said PATRICK SPENCE and DAVID NORRY by articles of agreement in the nature of a Deed of Partition made between them bearing date the Eleventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and Sixty one, whereby the said moiety thereof hereinbefore mentioned was and is allotted and assigned unto the said DAVID NORRY and all the houses orchards profits and appurtenances to said premises belonging; To have and to hold the undivided third part of said three hundred and seventy five acres of land and other the premises with appurtenances unto WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY during the term of one whole year paying therefore the Rent of one Ear of Indian Corn upon the last day of the term (if lawfully demanded) to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transfering uses into possession, WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY may be in the actual possession of the premises and thereby be enabled to accept a Release of the inheritance thereof; In Witness whereof the said partys to these presents have interchangeably sett their hands and seals the day & year first above written

    THOMAS STURMAN personally acknowledged this Deed of Lease of Land by him passed to WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY, Gent. (in Trust and to and for the uses in the Deed of Release expressed) to be his proper act and deed, which at the instance of the sd. Trustees is admitted to Record Test

    THIS INDENTURE TRIPARTITE made the Twenty eighth day of June in the Sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith &c., And in the year of our Lrod one thousand seven hundred and Thirty two; Between THOMAS STURMAN of the County of Westmorland, Planter, and MARGARETT his Wife of the first part; ROBERT OSBORN of the same County, Planter, and ANNE his Wife, and ABRAHAM BARNES, Son of the said ANNE of the second part; and WILLIAM AYL and DANIEL McCARTY, both of the same County of the third part; Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of Sixteen pounds current money to THOMAS STURMAN and MARGARET his Wife in hand paid by ROBERT OSBORN and ANNE his Wife, the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and discharge ROBERT OSBORN and ANNE his Wife for ever, and also in consideration of the sum of Five shillings Sterling to THOMAS STURMAN and MARGARETT his Wife in hand paid by WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, THOMAS STURMAN and MARGARETT his Wife by the appointment and direction of ROBERT OSBORN and ANNE his Wife testified by their being partyes to and sealing and delivery of these presents, hath and by these presents do each of them bargain sell and release unto WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY (in their actual possession now being by virtue of a bargain and sale to them thereof made by THOMAS STURMAN for one whole yeare and by force of the Statute for transferring uses into possession) and their heirs one full and undivided third part of all that parcel of land containing by estimation three hundred seventy five acres, be the same more or less, scituate in Parish of Washington and County of Westmorland, being the moiety or half part of seven hundred and fifty acres of land formerly granted unto PATRICK SPENCE and DAVID NORRY, deceased, by Patent bearing date the Thirteith day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and Sixty, which seven hundred and fifty acres of land were afterwards divided between PATRICK SPENCE and DAVID NORRY by Articles of Agreement in the nature of a Deed of Partition made between them bearing date the Eleventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and sixty one; and whereby the moiety hereinbefore mentioned was and is allotted unto DAVID NORRY, To have and to hold the undivided third part of the three hundred and seventy five acres of land and all other the premises with appurtenances granted unto WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY their heirs to the use of ROBERT OSBORN and ANN his Wife during the term of the natural life of the said ANN and from the death of the said ANN to the use of ABRAHAM BARNES, Son of the said ANN, and of his heirs and to no other use; And THOMAS STURMAN and his heirs the premises with their appurtenances to WILLIAM AYLETT and DANIEL McCARTY their heirs against all persons shall warrant and for ever defend by these presents: In Witness whereof the partys to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
