To nephew Rich'd. Shirburn, saddle and bridle.
To mother: Martha Matthews, during life land she now has then to my sister Jane Matthews during single life.
To son Luke Francis Matthews, tracts "Cockshett," "The Addition", Negroes: Ally, Fanny, Jerry, Gusty, Charles, Little Nace, Big Nace and Anna; all the residue of my estate but if he die without Issue above equally between my 2 sisters, Mary Shirburn and Jane Matthews,
If my wife Margaret Matthews marry imprudently or die my uncle Benjamin Jameson to have care of my son and his estate, if my uncle die my brother-In-law Walter Pye shall be guardian of my son.
Wife, Margaret Matthews, Benjamin Jameson and Walter Pye, joint Executors.

Margaret Matthews was present at probate and renounced the same.
