Parentage of Margaret Paul

The parentage of Margaret Paul is undetermined. One possiblility is that she could be the daughter of William Paul, who died bef. 16 Nov. 1757 in Augusta County, VA, and named a daughter Margaret in the following will:

Page 202.--26th August, 1751. William Paul's will--To daughter Margaret, all estate; to son John, 5 shillings; son James, 5 shillings. Executors, Charles Hays, James Moore. Teste: James Lee, Samuel Linsey. Proved, 16th November, 1757, by the witnesses. Chas. Hays qualifies with James Trimble, Saml. Linsey.

It should also be noted that Margaret Paul's brother, John Paul acquired land in the Borden Tract, near the land of Richard Woods, which provides additional circumstantial evidence to support this theory.
