Obituary? Mrs. T. Jeff Lanter died at her home near here Tuesday, of a complication of diseases. Funeral preached by Rev. B.B. Bailey, of Winchester, and remains interred in the family graveyard. The Winchester Democrat Friday, June 19, 1896

    Died in Clark.
    Mrs. Margaret Lanter, widow of the late Jefferson Lanter, died at her home at Hayden's Corner, Clark county, about two weeks ago, aged 66 years. Buried near her home. Mr. Lanter lived on Kentucky River, in Madison county, near Doylesville, and was a prosperous farmer, accumulating a considerable fortune. He removed to Clark county probabbly ten years ago. Mrs. Jasper Powell, of Doylesville, is a daughter, and there were a number of other children.
