On the same 1850 Wetzel County, VA (WV)census page as Caleb, William & Garnet Jackson there is a 17 year old Margaret Jackson, b in VA, living with the family of Elial Long and wife Elizabeth. Because of some conflicting information posted online, it will be noted that at least three of Margaret's children, Lucinda, Emma and Lucy, have death certificates that state their mother was Margaret Jackson. So the census records which include these children would be the correct census for John W. Leap and Margaret Cassandra Jackson.
