(from Tim Christenson) Margaret's mother played organs in the Detroit area while Margaret was still young. Margaret suffered hearing loss because of this and all her friends sent away for free samples of ear ache medicine, so that Margaret could use it. Margaret claimed to June Irene Murray that she was her father's favorite child.
