Mrs. Margaret M. Heckman, 78, of 650 Dunbar Rd, South Congaree, widow of Walter J. Heckman, died Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness.
She lived in the West Columbia area for the past eight years and was formerly of Pennsylvania.
Surviving are three sons, James Heckman of West Columbia, Roger Heckman of Bethel Park, PA, and Lee Heckman of Cayce; and ten grandchildren.
Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Tony Sanders. Burial will be in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
