Margaret Haley was born say 1823 in Ireland, most likely in County Roscommon, where her sister was born. She married Michael Bradley 12 April 1849 at St. Peter's R.C. Church in Belleville, Essex County, NJ, with Michael Flannigan and Mary Bradley as witnesses. In 1880 she was living in Belleville with her daughter and son-in-law, Hugh and Mary Ann Donnelly. She cannot read and write. She died January 23, 1894, in Belleville.
