  7. Birth discrepancies: The 1850 and 1870 census upon which Margaret appears indicate that she is 16 and 36 respectively, which would suggest a birth year around 1833-34. The 1880 census shows her to be 48, or 1831-32, which would coincide with her gravemarker and the biographical sketch of her husband. The 1900 census information was likely not given by one of her children, because it gives her date of birth as Feb 1840.
