2/11/97 Frances Bennett <mailto:105126.435@compuserve.com> Seeking record of a second marriage or burial place or death record of James BILLINGS of Stonington or North Stonington who married first Margaret FANNING, who d. March 27, 1752 and is buried at the Great Plains Cemetery in N. Stonington. James was the son of James Billings, Sr. and Mary HEWITT. James, Jr. and Margaret Fanning had children: Jonas, b. 1741/42; Benjamin, b. 1744 (m. Ruhamah PALMER); Alpheus, b. 1746 (m. Elizabeth WICKWIRE); Amos, b. 1748/49; and James, b. 1751 (m. Sarah ???). James, Jr. and second wife, whose name is being sought, had child Ezekiel, b. 1758. Would also like to hear from anyone who has a record of the birth of Ezekiel in Stonington or Groton (according to Rev. War Pension App.). Benjamin above and Ruhamah Palmer relocated to Milton, Saratoga County, NY, and Ezekiel relocated to Colrain, MA.
