- Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Ross, 74, of 24 Locust Street died Monday at a Rome hospital.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Ross was born January 10, 1914, the daughter of Clifton Leigh Daniel and Ruth Adams Daniel. She was a member of the St Luke United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ross was married August 18, 1939, to Charles Lewis Ross who died May 6, 1984. Survivors include two sons, Leigh Ross, Rome, and Clifton Andrew Ross, Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Ayer, Rome, and Mrs. Mary Woodrow, Birmingham, Alabama; a brother, C. L. Daniel, Rome; four grandchildren. Graveside services were to be held at 3 pm today at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Stiles Cobb officiating.
