Margaret Anne Wahl, 89, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 8, 2019 at 4:40 pm at the Concordia at Rebecca Residence in Allison Park.
She was born February 23, 1929 in Jeanette, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur L. Briggs and the late Dolly Loughner Briggs.
Mrs.Wahl worked as a Sales Person for J.C. Penny Company for 27 years. She then went and worked for Sears Roebuck Company of Butler, PA retiring in 2008. Mrs. Wahl was a member of First English Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, one daughter-in-law, one daughter, five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law and a number of nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Wahl whom she married on April 15, 1950 and who passed away on October 24, 2012, two brothers, Arthur J. Briggs and Roy S. Briggs, and one sister, Irene F. Spinks.
Friends will be received Friday, January 11, 2019, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
Private funeral services for family only will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Kimberly van Driel, of First English Lutheran, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater PA, Pittsburgh Office, 1100 Liberty Avenue, Ste. 210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
