Mrs. Margaret Brunson, one of the pioneer women of this section of the state, passed away at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Bonnie Guiberon, on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock after a short illness.

At the time of her death Mrs.Brunson was nearly 71 years of age, and has resided in this section of the state for a great number of years, part of the time being a resident of Terry.

A number of years ago her husband, the late D. Brunson took up a homestead near Van Norman, now in Garfield County, where he engaged in the horse business up to the time of his death about a year ago.

To the union there were four children, three of whom still survive, but owing to the fact that the family is scattered, only one was present at the time of death.

Mrs. Brunson for the past several months has made her home with her granddaughter in Terry, and though not in the best of health she was able up to a very short time ago to be about her daily tasks.
She was taken seriously ill about a week ago with gall stones, from which she could not find relief, her age rendered an operation too hazardous.

Funeral services were held at the cemetery in Terry on Wednesday morning by Rev. W.C. Ross, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Terry cemetery.

To the family and friends of the deceased the Tribune extends its deepest sympathy..
