  5. Source:Thurston, Charles Myrick. Descendants of Edward Thurston, the First of the Name in the Colony of Rhode Island, p. 27, says Humphrey Atherton came to Boston on the James in 1635 and was in Dorchester by 1636, so if Margaret was born on the date given here, it was likely in Dorchester. However, the birth does not appear to be recorded in Source:Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Dorchester Births, Marriages, and Deaths to the End of 1825, and the Desc. of Edward Thurston places her birth in England, which implies a birth bef. 1635?
