Mareen Duvall the Younger, son of Mareen and Susannah his wife, was born at Middle Plantation, South River Hundred, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In 1726 he gave his age as 46, suggesting a birth date of about 1780. - He was commonly known as Mareen of the Great Marsh to differentiate himself from his older kinsman of the same name. - On 21 October 1701 he married Elizabeth, daughter of John and Mary (Cheney) Jacob.
