Marcia Ann Nutting, who was born September 28, 1821, at Randolph, Vermont; a woman of unusual culture and a student of Latin and Greek, as well as the modern languages; was also gifted as a musician and an artist in water colors; especially interested in Bible school work, she taught in the primary department for thirty-six consecutive years; her life was one of devotion and service for others; married the Reverend Livingston Maturin Glover, D. D. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Higginson, in Wichita, Kansas, in November, 1892.
