    Maranda, wife of James M. Elkins, born in Pulaski Co., MO, Apr. 17th 1858, died in Piney T. Pulaski Co., Feb. 23rd 1894 aged 35 ys, 10 ms, and 6 days. A funeral sermon was preached at their residence, from 1st Thes. 4X13 & 14 verses, by J.J. Watts Feb. 24th 1894 at 11 a.m., after which the remains were taken to the Bradford Cemetery and buried. Husband, 7 children, and mother survives.
