META (Special) -- Mandel W. Weston, 86. died Saturday at the Miller County Rest Home near Tuscumbia. Mr. Weston had returned to Missouri about six months ago after residing at Walter, Okla., for 61 years. He was born Feb. 22, 1878, at Gallatin, the son of Arthur and Ellen Hadley Weston. He was a member of the Rock Creek Presbyterian Church, near Duncan, Okla., and the Mason Lodge. Survivors include: Two Nephews, Neal Vogelgesang, Meta, and Karl Vogelgesang, Rawlings,Wyo.; and one niece, Miss Mary Vogelgesang, Meta. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Meta Christian Church with the Rev. Earl Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Southside Cemetery, Meta. |
