In 1910 Census Malachi and his wife Emma are living at 1322 James Street.
In the 1920 Census Malachi is listed as being widowed, and still working as a bricklayer. He is living with his Father-In-Law. All those listed in the household are from Maryland, including Parents of those listed. His daughter Daisy D (V) is married to William Thomas Appleby.
In the 1930 Census his parents are listed as being from Scotland. In all other Censuses they are listed from Maryland.
Later Malachi lived on Columbia Avenue at 1270 - he rented.
