    Mahalah was born in 1884. Her father James Whitham is also a hall of famer for lawn bowling. James was instrumental in starting lawn bowling in Cornwall.

    Mahalah was an avid 5 pin bowler and was one shot short of a perfect game where she ended up sparing in the last frame.
