    HENRIETTA - Mahala Hazel Patterson, 100, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away Monday, June 18, 2007, in Henrietta.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2007, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta, with Rev. Howard Walker pastor of the First Christian Church in Henrietta, officiating. Burial will be in the Bluegrove Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.

    Mrs. Patterson was born Feb. 21, 1907, in Bluegrove, Texas, to J. J. and Parlee (Fox) Langford. She married Babe Patterson Dec. 2, 1926 in Henrietta. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henrietta. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, Bluegrove Chapter for 60 years.

    Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents, J. J. & Parlee Patterson; her husband of 65 years, O. F. "Babe" Patterson in 1991; a 4-year-old daughter Helen Marie in 1932; brothers, Forest Langford in 1935, Jim Langford in 1980, Charlie Langford in 1979, Joe Langford in 1980, Leonard Langford in 1989, Earl Langford in 1964 and Marvin Langford who lived for two days and died in 1916; a baby sister Malinda 1897; sisters, Balma Davis in 1981, Martha Murdock in 1987, Ruth Oman in 2001 and Nell Haigood in 2006.

    Survivors include son, Olan Ray Patterson of Henrietta; grandchildren: Kelly Patterson and wife LaDonna of Henrietta, Kory Patterson and wife Patty of Patton, Penn., Kendell Patterson and wife Mary of Bellaire, Texas, and Kodi Patterson of Thornton, Colo.; great-grandchildren Landon, Cole and Zack Patterson of Henrietta, Eric, Kimberly and Tyler Patterson of Patton, Pa., Max and Brooks Patterson of Bellaire, Casey Patterson and Cari White of Thornton; and great-great granddaughter and namesake Mahalie White of Thornton.
