    HENRIETTA--Ruth Oman, 90, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, in Dallas, Texas.

    Services will be 2:00 Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Darnell officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Oman was born on June 14, 1911, in Deercreek, Texas, to J.J. and Paralee (Fox) Langford. She married Harry Oman on Oct. 29, 1927, in Bluegrove, Texas. She was one of the original members of the First Church of God in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a songwriter, artist and poet. Mrs. Oman was a housewife.

    Survivors include: two daughters, Mildred McClain of Henrietta, Texas, and Carolyn Oman of Bedford, Texas; two sisters, Nell Haigood of Bowie, Texas, and Hazel Patterson of Henrietta, Texas; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
