[1] Mary Magdalene Huber and Adam Gefeller were married in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania about 1765. They migrated to Rockingham County, Virginia prior to 1776. *Magdalena "Mary" Huber and Adam Gfeller, a farmer, were among some of the first settlers of Dunmore County, Virginia in 1776.[2] Adam Gefeller went to Tennessee and his will is dated December 12, 1812 Greene County, Tennessee. "Mary" Magdalene Huber Gefeller more than likely died before that date, as she is not mentioned in his will. Adam and Mary's daughter Barbara Gefeller married Conrad Barnhart. Conrad Barnhart arrived in Philadelphia in August 1774 aboard the "Snow Sally". He and his wife, Barbara Gefeller Barnhart, were in Greene County, Tennessee as early as 1795 when they purchased land. Barbara and Conrad's son was Jacob Barnhart, born about 1790-1800 in Greene County, Tennessee. He died in Miller County, Missouri about 1849. Jacob Barnhart married Martha Shirley, daughter of Adam Shirley who was the son of Lucas Shirley. About 1846 Jacob Barnhart and Martha (Shirley) Barnhart moved to Missouri, and Martha's father, Adam Shirley, moved with them.[3] [edit] Researcher's NotesNamed in Father's Will
