"Mrs. Mae Hindman
Mrs. Mae Hindman, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Putney died at the hospital in Oklahoma City at 9:30 this morning following an operation for Appendictis on Tuesday morning.
For a short time after the operation she seemed to improve nicely and on Tuesday evening her Husband phoned that she was doing fine and that they would write every day. About four this morning a telephone call stated that she was not expected to live until morning.
Mr. Putney and his Daughter Mrs. R. A. Harrell left on the morning train for Oklahoma City and at 9:30 a telegram came from J. H. Harrison that she had died. Whether she ate something that did not agree with her or wheather it was the effects of the cocaine that was administered during the operation is not known.
Mr. Putney and his Wife went to Oklahoma City Sunday morning and she remained but he returned home on the evening train. J. H. Harrison and Wife were attending school at Edmond and could reach the City on the Inter-urban line. Obituary will be given next time.
