[edit] ObituaryMadelyn E. Stahl, 83, of 10129 E. Twp. Rd. 106, Attica, died Thursday, August 03, 2000, at Mercy Hospital, Tiffin, after an extended illness. She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Tiffin, to Joseph and Cleo (Binder) Angus. On Oct. 27, 1951, she married Alvin W. Stahl in Tiffin, and he survives. Also surviving include: two sons, Joseph A. Stahl of Attica, and Paul K. Stahl of New Washington; a daughter, Mrs. Victoria Hess of Tiffin; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by: a brother, Joseph Angus II, and two sisters, Joan C. Fredericks and Phyllis Lowery. Mrs. Stahl was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, a Past President of the Rosary Altar Society, a CCD Teacher, and a 1935 graduate of Calvert High School. Mrs. Stahl had worked at Autolite in Fostoria, and also at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, in Republic, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Tiffin. Visitation hours are from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., and 7-9 p.m., at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. State Route 19, Bloomville, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Memorials or contributions may be made to the Church or to Republic-Scipio EMT. S1 References
