- LETTER TO OLIVIA BROOK REVITS FROM ELINOR ROSS, DAUGHTER******
- OF MADELINE DENGLER AND HARRY ROSS- JUNE 4, 1998**********
I was 6 years old when my father died. My mother raised 5 children (under age 15) doing housework and ironing for people. She was uneducated but the best psychologist ever. She was the ruler of the household but full of love.
Your father loved her cole slaw, therefore, whenever she knew he was visiting she had to make cole slaw for him. She also had an excellent sense of humor.
Everyone spoke well of Mom Ross...even Aunt Jule and Aunt Nora. Especially Unlce Joe. They got along very well.
