Majurah "Madda" SHORES was most probably named for her maternal grandmother, Majurah (HACKNEY) MOORE. After her marriage in 1812, she and her husband Nehemiah BOZMAN disappear from the records of Somerset County. The author assumes they moved out of state in search of more promising opportunities but, as yet, no evidence has been found of them.
