Mabel Mull McCauley, 93, of Scottdale, died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 13, 2005, in Scottdale Manor Rehabilitation Center. She was born Feb. 24, 1912, in Paintertown, Penn Township, a daughter of the late Lewis R. and Myrtle Emma Loughner Mull. Mabel was a longtime and faithful member of the Scottdale Church of Christ and the church's Co-Strivers Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Bullskin Township, Scottdale and Everson Senior Citizens organizations. Mabel was a retired sales clerk for the former Kaufmann's department stores, Monroeville. Mabel's memory will forever remain in the hearts of her loving family; her loving and devoted daughter, Mrs. Jean (James H.) Barr, of Scottdale; her two grandchildren, Mark Barr and his wife, Karen, of Scottdale, and Jamie and her husband, Eamonn Walsh, of Scottdale; two great-grandsons, Oliver James Walsh and Jason Barr, both of Scottdale; a great-granddaughter, Laurie Barr Wallace and her husband, Shane, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four nephews, Carl Dahlstrom, of Monroeville, Robert Geiger, of Paintertown, Homer Geiger, of Irwin, and Kenneth Geiger, of Wendel; and two nieces, Evelyn Mullen, of New Bedford, Mass., and Dorothy White, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy E. McCauley, on April 19, 1979; a brother, Joseph E. Mull; two sisters, Gladys Geiger (1936) and Myrtle Dahlstrom; three nephews, Donald Geiger, Burrel Mull Geiger and Lewis Mull Dahlstrom; and a niece, Mrs. Irvine (Dorris) Kucera.
